The Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM), under the National Health Authority (NHA), has recently updated the Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA) mobile application of the Government of India (GoI) with a newly designed User Interface (UI) and added features. This update will allow Indian citizens to easily register for their ABHA address (username@abdm). The ABHA Mobile application now offers a comprehensive and longitudinal view of health records, with options to link and share with other health facilities and providers through ABDM network. The new and improved ABHA mobile app features include: creating an easy-to-remember ABHA address with mobile number, email ID, or ABHA number, linking ABHA address with a 14-digit ABHA number to become KYC verified, discovering health facilities to link and view health records, accessing health records such as lab reports, prescriptions, CoWIN vaccination certificates, sharing health records with registered doctors, health facilities, or health programs, owning and controlling access to health records, revoking consent, editing profile details, and scanning QR code at ABDM compliant facilities for express registration. The app is currently available in Hindi and English and will soon be available in more languages. Users are encouraged to update their ABHA app for an enhanced user experience. Stay tuned for more updates and new functionalities in the app.
